Dovecott Bay

Dovecott Bay meets the water on a wooden dock, with trees along the far bank and a blue sky over the lake.

The buildings nearby have balconies, wide halls, and kitchen windows toward the water. The streets are flat and easy to walk.

A line of willows marks the edge of the bay path. In autumn the light stays long on the water.
